Re: garment district run...
Sun, October 17, 2004 - 12:00 PMGarment District run was soooo much fun. We all bought tons of good stuff. Mom was so smart to have brough with her a huge duffle bag on wheels. We managed to fill it up in no time. Both Katherine and Melissa have bought a lot of lovely fabric with the help of mom. They are going to look gorgeous, I am telling you!
We had dinner at Denny's after a full day shopping. Katherine and Melissa told funny stories and we laughed so hard that tears came out! All in all, it was sooo much fun! Thanks Bahia and Aziza!
So...the next thing is... A Sewing Day!
I can't wait! -

Re: garment district run...
Mon, October 18, 2004 - 10:28 AMYes, I had a total blast! But I have to tell you, it was TORTURE when I went home. Why? Because after laying out my nice new fabric all over the couch, and practicing how to move my new veil material...I didn't want to go to bed. I wanted to stay up all night and sew! The torture part kicked in because I don't know how to sew. Or at least I don't know how to sew for now! Workshop, baby, workshop!

Mon, November 14, 2005 - 11:22 PMI'm up for Little India but I refuse to go to the garment/fashion district 'til I actually create something out of the fabric I purchased at our last trip. Yeah, I'm slow. -
